Director, Monitoring – Site Management

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Illinois.

📋 Description

• Accountable for planning, managing, organizing, evaluating, and reporting on the daily operations of the Clinical Monitoring unit (Clinical Operations Leads).

• The position involves the development and enhancement of policies and processes, ensuring product quality, monitoring sites and compliance, planning staff resources, and managing the performance of staff and contractors.

• Offer support, expertise, and representation for project and clinical monitoring teams in collaboration with sponsors and researchers throughout the entire project life cycle.

• Guarantee that all team members, including external providers, deliver high-quality, timely services while adhering to service delivery processes that align with corporate and industry best practices and comply with all regulatory requirements and guidelines.

⛳️ Requirements

• The ideal candidate should possess a College Diploma or University Degree in a relevant field (Health Sciences, Life Sciences preferred), along with SoCRA and/or ACRP Certification/Designation, and a minimum of 4-6 years of relevant experience plus substantial ongoing training.

• Proven experience in managing CRA staff, with the ability to provide training and/or mentorship to colleagues in both one-on-one and group settings.

• Capability to operate in a remote global environment.

• Comprehensive understanding of applicable regulations and guidelines related to clinical monitoring and GCP.

• A collaborative team player with a customer service mindset and a focus on solutions.

• Proven leadership abilities.

• Excellent verbal, written, and organizational skills.

• Capacity to manage multiple tasks to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
