This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New York.
• Lead, provide strategic vision, and oversee the operational management of a 6-member MSL team.
• Maintain an active presence in the field as the primary MSL for a specified territory.
• Ensure the MSL team is adequately staffed and properly trained.
• Conduct regular coaching sessions and offer feedback to team members.
• Develop and execute scientific interaction plans.
• Offer scientific support in the field throughout the product lifecycle.
• Oversee the performance and activities of the MSL team.
• Coordinate efforts with other in-field teams.
• Lead recruitment initiatives for new or replacement roles.
• Handle daily administrative responsibilities and operational logistics.
• An advanced degree in health sciences or a clinical discipline is required (preferred: Doctorate level).
• Strong understanding of the pharmaceutical sector and the function of Medical Affairs.
• At least 5 years of experience in clinical, scientific/research, or the pharmaceutical industry, with a minimum of 2 years as an MSL.
• Previous experience in managing a field-based MSL team is highly preferred.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, including presentation abilities (local language and English preferred).
• Demonstrated success in managing multiple projects at the same time.
• Proven capability to collaborate effectively across various functions.
• Experience in managing and resolving complex personnel challenges.
• Willingness to travel regularly (approximately 50–60%).
