This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
β’ Provide clinical leadership and oversight for the experience of physicians who place orders.
β’ Act as the primary medical contact for ordering providers.
β’ Offer medical guidance to the internal teams supporting ordering physicians.
β’ Spearhead the creation and enhancement of physician onboarding and ordering processes.
β’ Identify and resolve clinical and operational challenges that affect physician adoption, usage, and retention.
β’ Collaborate with Medical Affairs, Laboratory, and commercial cross-functional teams to enhance clinical and operational processes from start to finish.
β’ Oversee and guide clinical experience initiatives and operational improvement projects.
β’ Examine physician ordering trends, operational metrics, and feedback to uncover opportunities for process enhancements.
β’ Serve as a senior clinical and operational resource for ordering physicians facing complex clinical inquiries and escalations.
β’ Convert physician insights and operational difficulties into actionable recommendations for Medical Affairs and business leadership.
β’ Lead efforts to enhance specimen quality, turnaround times, ordering efficiency, and the overall physician ordering experience.
β’ Assess and tackle issues contributing to provider attrition, such as clinical friction, workflow inefficiencies, and ordering challenges.
β’ MD degree is mandatory, with clinical training adequate to engage ordering physicians as a credible peer; completion of residency or additional post-graduate clinical training is preferred but not essential.
β’ Strong comprehension of physician workflows and the clinical decision-making processes and realities faced by ordering providers.
β’ Credibility to engage with practicing physicians on a peer-to-peer basis.
β’ Preferred experience in healthcare operations, payer organizations, healthcare consulting, hospital administration, or process improvement roles.
β’ Proven track record of enhancing healthcare delivery, operational efficiency, or physician experience.
β’ Strong leadership skills across functions and the ability to manage stakeholders effectively.
β’ Capability to analyze intricate operational challenges and develop scalable solutions.
β’ Experience collaborating with medical, operational, and commercial teams is highly preferred.
