Associate Medical Director

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Minnesota.

📋 Description

• Deliver medical insights to enhance product development, facilitate risk assessments, and enhance customer interactions.

• Supervise the design, implementation, and evaluation of clinical studies aimed at supporting product approvals and conducting post-market surveillance.

• Conduct medical monitoring throughout clinical trials by analyzing safety data, evaluating adverse events, and ensuring participant safety during the study.

• Offer medical expertise in managing complaints.

• Build and sustain relationships with key opinion leaders and industry specialists to gather valuable insights.

• Collaborate effectively with R&D, Quality Assurance, Regulatory Affairs, and Marketing teams to align clinical objectives with overarching business goals.

• Ensure adherence to all pertinent regulatory requirements and guidelines.

• Participate in the training of both medical and non-medical staff.

• Contribute medical insights for the creation of marketing and educational materials.

• Assist in the formulation and execution of medical education and scientific evidence strategies.

⛳️ Requirements

• MD or an equivalent medical degree, along with a minimum of 5 years of clinical experience.

• Proven experience in a medical affairs position within the medical device sector.

• Solid understanding of statistical principles, Good Clinical Practice concepts, and regulations governing clinical research, including medical monitoring.

• Ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage intricate projects.

• Proficient in delivering clear and accurate written and verbal communications to present complex information to stakeholders.

• Experience in applying established processes and procedures to address work-related challenges.

• Capable of managing changing priorities and effectively completing tasks in a fast-paced environment.
