This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
β’ Oversee the Medical Affairs strategy and implementation for the Advanced Diagnostics Division.
β’ Work in collaboration with cross-functional teams, including R&D, marketing, sales, and regulatory, to ensure a unified and integrated approach to medical affairs.
β’ Identify evidence gaps and contribute to strategies for real-world evidence, clinical research, and publications in partnership with marketing and R&D teams.
β’ Act as a scientific advisor for both internal teams and external stakeholders.
β’ Keep abreast of industry trends, market dynamics, and competitor activities to guide the creation of innovative strategies and initiatives.
β’ Collaborate with laboratory medicine organizations and serve as a thought leader, representing the company at conferences, events, and with key opinion leaders.
β’ Provide strategic input and guidance to product development teams to ensure the company's portfolio aligns with the needs of healthcare professionals and patients.
β’ Drive the adoption of AI-enabled tools to enhance operational efficiency, reporting, and workflow management.
β’ Assist teams in effectively utilizing AI tools, serving as a resource for adoption and best practices.
β’ Develop and refine key metrics to assess the performance and impact of Medical Affairs.
β’ Convert complex medical/scientific data into actionable business insights.
β’ Promote a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous learning within the medical affairs team and throughout the organization.
β’ Mentor and coach team members, offering guidance and support for their professional development and growth.
β’ Advanced medical or scientific degree in the life sciences or a related field.
β’ 10+ years of experience as a Director of a Clinical Microbiology Laboratory or in equivalent leadership roles within laboratory medicine, infectious disease diagnostics, or precision medicine settings preferred.
β’ Proven experience in leadership and team management.
β’ Comprehensive knowledge of emerging technologies in infectious disease diagnostics, scientific study design and implementation, as well as data analysis of study results.
β’ Significant experience in conducting and publishing scientific studies in the field of Clinical Microbiology and Infectious Diseases.
β’ High credibility with both internal stakeholders and external clinical experts.
β’ Experience in Medical Affairs, product development, or cross-functional team environments is preferred.
β’ Ability to work remotely (U.S.) with some limited travel required.
