This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United Kingdom.

📋 Description

• Offer medical and scientific insights into key strategic and operational medical affairs initiatives.

• Formulate the therapeutic area strategy and provide medical leadership to the Global Medical Affairs Team.

• Serve as the principal Medical Reviewer and Subject Matter Expert for both the Promotional Review Committee and Medical Review Committee.

• Conduct medical reviews of Promotional and Medical Affairs materials.

• Guide interdisciplinary teams to achieve collaborative results on workstreams that align with the scientific strategy.

• Spearhead content creation in partnership with the Medical Communications team.

• Design and uphold Medical Affairs scientific documents, scientific slide presentations, and internal training resources.

• Work together with Medical Affairs team members and external partners to support content development.

• Collaborate with Global Safety & Epidemiology to assist in data generation efforts.

• Provide necessary training to internal business partners regarding disease states or products.

• Ensure that budgets, timelines, and compliance standards are integrated into the scientific activities of programs.


⛳️ Requirements

• An advanced scientific or clinical/medical degree is required (MD, DO, PharmD, PhD, MPharm or equivalent).

• Proven experience in leading cross-functional teams within a complex matrix environment.

• A solid understanding of US and international business needs to create comprehensive support plans.

• Over 5 years of professional experience in the pharmaceutical industry, including at least 2 years in Medical Affairs.

• Experience in leading promotional/medical reviews is essential.

• Previous experience with digital review systems is required; familiarity with Veeva Vault and/or Veeva Med Comms is preferred.

• Past experience in training or teaching is necessary.

• A demonstrated history of facilitating effective, high-quality medical communications.

• Excellent organizational abilities.

• Strong scientific insight with the capability to translate and effectively communicate complex scientific data to diverse audiences.

• Proven project management skills with a successful record of delivering multiple projects on time and with high quality.
