Director, Media Strategy

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Virginia.

📋 Description

• Connect product development with the requirements of sports teams, media entities, and brand collaborators.

• Work alongside the Chief Product Officer to outline and implement the product roadmap.

• Utilize client insights, market dynamics, and internal data analysis.

• Collaborate with engineering teams to convert business needs into product specifications.

• Spearhead the creation of data visualization dashboards.

• Interact directly with sports teams, brands, and media partners to grasp their challenges.

• Evaluate market trends related to sponsorship activation, audience engagement, and broadcast media.

• Apply Zoomph's proprietary data to foster product innovation.

⛳️ Requirements

• 7-10+ years of experience in sports media strategy, preferably in SaaS, analytics, or media technology sectors.

• Strong comprehension of sports sponsorship evaluation, media analytics, or tools for audience engagement.

• Demonstrated ability to convert business requirements into clear product specifications, user stories, and feature roadmaps.

• Familiarity with data visualization tools and principles to create actionable, user-friendly analytics dashboards.

• Capability to assess user behavior, client feedback, and market trends to shape product strategy.

• Experience in cross-functional collaboration with engineering, design, sales, and customer success teams.

• Exceptional communication and presentation skills to convey product decisions to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

• Proficiency in product management tools such as TFS, Figma, or similar applications.

• Strong analytical aptitude with the capability to leverage data for informed decision-making and prioritization.
