
Director, Media and Content Marketing Operations

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Manage all aspects of media management operations, ensuring that assets are efficiently ingested, organized, and accessible across various platforms and tools (CatDV, Frame.io, shared network storage, and emerging digital asset management (DAM) systems).
• Collaborate with the Media Manager to uphold and enhance media organization standards, naming conventions, and distribution workflows for the wider team.
• Act as a senior stakeholder in the DAM strategy and execution, collaborating cross-functionally with Engineering and Technology teams.
• Guarantee the timely and precise delivery of media assets to teams and internal stakeholders.
• Provide operational oversight and management for the Audio team and Media Manager, ensuring both areas are well-resourced, supported, and aligned with organizational objectives.
• Function as an internal subject matter expert and coaching resource for editorial workflows, Adobe Creative Suite tools, and color grading guidance as the team operates within a leaner framework.
• Coordinate with Creative Directors to facilitate outsourced shoot production and manage vendor relationships for content acquisition and production requirements.
• Work closely with the Director of PM to ensure that media operations are integrated into project workflows and timelines.
• Collaborate with Graphics, Creative, Engineering, and other Marketing teams to ensure smooth asset transitions and adherence to delivery standards.
• Contribute to the advancement of content operations as the organization evolves—identifying opportunities to streamline, automate, or restructure workflows in alignment with transformation goals.
• Partner with the AI contractor and teams.
• A BS/BA in a relevant discipline or equivalent experience is preferred.
• Typically, a minimum of 10 years of experience in a related field is preferred.
• Proficiency in hands-on creative suite and editorial workflows.
• Advanced expertise in Adobe Creative Suite, including Photoshop, Premiere Pro, After Effects, along with familiarity with AI-assisted tools for creative enhancement; awareness of color grading standards and editorial practices.
• Experience in outsourcing production, negotiating with vendors, and managing third-party content acquisition.
• Ability to collaborate with Creative, Engineering, Graphics, and Marketing teams to ensure seamless asset handoffs and consistent delivery standards.
• Skill in identifying opportunities for streamlining, automating, and restructuring workflows to support organizational transformation.
• Comfort in collaborating with AI-focused teams to enhance media operations, automate repetitive tasks, and improve asset accessibility.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills; capacity to act as a subject matter expert and mentor for team members on best practices.
• Ability to maintain high accuracy and attention to detail while managing large volumes of media assets.
• Capability to quickly adapt within a lean organizational structure and embrace emerging tools and methodologies.
• Extensive hands-on experience with DAM platforms, including governance, implementation, and driving team adoption.
• Ability to take ownership of the domain, make sound independent decisions, and drive outcomes without close supervision, while proactively communicating with leadership and teams.
• Working knowledge of shoot production workflows and agency relationships.
