• Take charge of the monthly Marketing Data Decision Forum, engaging leadership from Marketing, Technology, and Analytics to highlight decisions, document results, and ensure accountability in follow-through.
• Create and uphold decision frameworks that oversee data sources, identity resolution, profile management, and campaign dependencies, including clear ownership assignments where there is uncertainty.
• Implement a formal process for the intake and evaluation of new data requests, transitioning from informal submissions to a structured, defensible system for routing and prioritization.
• Proactively identify, escalate, and manage risks, obstacles, and trade-offs before they affect delivery, keeping executive stakeholders informed and ahead of potential issues.
• Maintain an up-to-date, comprehensive view of the entire portfolio of data initiatives currently in progress, detailing status, ownership, dependencies, and sequencing across parallel workstreams.
• Integrate insights from Marketing, Technology, and Analytics teams into a cohesive, evolving roadmap that is explicitly linked to business value outcomes, rather than solely delivery milestones.
• Convey program status, shifts in priorities, and strategic implications to both executive and working-level audiences with the confidence and context of a trusted advisor.
• Collaborate with delivery teams to ensure alignment on priorities, anticipated outcomes, and work sequencing, fostering consistent and repeatable program management standards throughout the organization.
• Develop and maintain authoritative program documentation, including initiative portfolios, governance and cadence documentation, risk and decision logs, and communications for executives.
• Lead the preparation, facilitation, and follow-up for steering committee meetings, ensuring that executive stakeholders are well-equipped to make informed decisions and take decisive action.
• Cultivate trusted relationships with executives at the VP and C-suite levels, acting as a credible and objective voice capable of navigating organizational dynamics and competing agendas.
• Transform technical complexities into narratives suitable for executives, bridging the communication gap between data and engineering teams and business leadership.
• Over 8 years of progressive experience in enterprise program management, product management, or strategic operations.
• Proven track record of overseeing governance structures, decision forums, and executive-level communications in large, matrixed organizations.
• Strong fluency in both business and technical domains, capable of engaging credibly with both marketing and data/engineering teams without reliance on either.
• Demonstrated capability to develop and manage a dynamic program roadmap across multiple parallel workstreams, balancing competing priorities with business outcomes.
• Experience operating in ambiguous, high-stakes environments where established structures are lacking, coupled with the ability to create such structures.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication abilities, including skills in executive-level storytelling, stakeholder briefings, and structured documentation.
• Familiarity with data platforms, marketing technology ecosystems (such as CRM, CDP, identity resolution, campaign management), or large-scale digital transformation initiatives.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Information Systems, or a related field; an advanced degree or MBA is preferred.
