This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.
• Establish a comprehensive taxonomy, governance, and "living knowledge" frameworks to facilitate rapid expansion and readiness for IPO.
• Create corporate ontologies to make institutional knowledge searchable by machines and prepared for AI integration.
• Collaborate with senior leadership to pinpoint and address risks related to organizational memory.
• Act as the Directly Responsible Individual (DRI) for a seven-wave data retention initiative, transitioning the organization from Slack-centric storage to more durable repositories (Confluence, Google Drive).
• Develop and activate a cross-functional network of departmental champions to spearhead migration efforts.
• Implement documentation standards, utilize AI tools (such as Glean) for migration, and oversee change management to avoid shadow IT.
• Collaborate with the Legal team to handle compliance carve-outs, legal holds, and retention policies.
• Standardize knowledge capture processes for significant transitions (departures, role changes, organizational redesigns).
• Incorporate retrospective practices to systematically record decision rationales and project contexts.
• Co-manage the governance of Oura’s technology stack (Confluence, Google Workspace, Glean, Miro, Slack, Intranet) alongside IT.
• Enhance information architecture to support the use of multi-tool AI stack scenarios (e.g., performance evaluations, deal continuity).
• Integrate knowledge hygiene into essential HR milestones (onboarding, learning and development tracking, planning cycles).
• Define and monitor KPIs for knowledge health, including content relevance, discoverability, and search efficiency.
• 12+ years of experience in knowledge management, organizational effectiveness, change management, learning and development, or a related field.
• Demonstrated success in scaling knowledge management practices in high-growth, Series C+ or pre-IPO settings.
• Candidates with practical experience in Google Workspace, Glean, Miro, and Slack are preferred.
• Proven history of driving cross-functional behavioral change, program management, and cultural alignment.
• Knowledge of data retention compliance, legal governance, or HR/L&D operations is beneficial.
