This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United Kingdom.
• Lead and guide a team of senior Account Executives.
• Manage relationships with executive stakeholders and spearhead negotiations at the executive level with strategic partners.
• Establish and refine the go-to-market strategy and operating model for the UK/Europe enterprise.
• Shape the commercial strategy by leveraging market insights, merchant feedback, and competitive trends.
• Act as the regional decision-maker for intricate commercial opportunities.
• Oversee talent planning, recruitment, and calibration processes within the region.
• Enhance sales execution, pipeline management, and deal strategy.
• Manage outcomes from contract signing through to launch and the first-year expansion.
• Hold cross-functional partners accountable for milestones and address escalations effectively.
• Mentor the team, promote performance enhancement, and cultivate a values-driven culture.
• Represent Affirm at industry events and conferences.
• Travel frequently for executive engagements, industry events, team planning sessions, and offsites.
• Over 10 years of experience in solution selling.
• More than 5 years of experience leading high-performing enterprise sales teams.
• Profound understanding of enterprise sales and complex deal structures.
• Experience in developing scalable operating models, sales processes, or commercial strategies.
• Background in setting regional or departmental strategy and scaling teams or organizations.
• Proven ability to execute cross-functionally across Product, Legal, Risk, and Customer Success.
• Proficient in CRM/Salesforce hygiene, forecasting accuracy, and sales methodologies.
• A solid track record of selling to large enterprise merchants across various industries.
• Ideally, experience in Retail, Travel, Credit, or Payments.
• Strong executive presence with the ability to build relationships with senior stakeholders.
• Active networking skills to generate warm leads and new opportunities.
• A structured, organized, proactive, and entrepreneurial leadership style.
• Excellent coaching and mentoring abilities.
• Willingness to travel regularly.
