This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Supervise the security operations and engineering aspects of Ensemble's IT Security Program.
• Formulate an effective strategy for security operations and engineering to safeguard business functions and missions.
• Manage a team of security analysts, engineers, and service providers dedicated to security operations or engineering tasks.
• Gain a thorough understanding of Ensemble's distinct business needs to identify and mitigate enterprise risks.
• Ensure the Confidentiality, Integrity, and Availability of Ensemble's applications and systems.
• Collaborate with business and security stakeholders to help define strategic cybersecurity objectives and targets.
• Keep abreast of trends in information technology and security, including threats and regulatory developments, to identify their potential impact on stakeholder operations and interests.
• Direct security operations resources that monitor and analyze events to uncover cybersecurity threats affecting Ensemble employees and resources.
• Improve security operations' threat detection and response capabilities.
• Refine incident response plans, playbooks, and preparedness initiatives.
• Lead security engineers tasked with the deployment, operation, configuration, and scalability of security systems, as well as oversee controls for systems managed by other IT teams.
• Create and implement an operational response model to ensure that security standards and configuration management policies and protocols are effective, adhered to, and monitored.
• Establish, implement, and oversee all operational elements of the company-wide software development lifecycle security program.
• Manage the Business Continuity Management Program and its associated functions, which include leading governance councils, conducting risk analyses, impact assessments, business continuity, and disaster recovery exercises, as well as reporting and updates to global business and IT stakeholders.
• Assist in acquisition due diligence for information security risks and support control design for integration.
• Develop and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics for operational success.
• Engage in reporting obligations, monthly/quarterly status meetings, and offsite gatherings as needed.
• CompTIA Security+, CISSP, or other relevant cybersecurity certifications.
• 5-7 years of relevant experience.
• 2-3 years of genuine leadership experience.
• Bachelor's Degree in Information Systems or equivalent experience.
• Hands-on experience in building threat-based cybersecurity programs, as well as designing and implementing security controls and compliance initiatives.
• Experience in leading information technology and/or security teams in engineering, design, and operations, with a preference for leadership roles within a Security Operations Center.
• Self-driven and eager to take on challenges while adapting to a dynamic operational environment.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Solid business acumen to quickly grasp new business processes and understand how application performance requirements align with revenue and profit objectives.
• Excellent collaboration skills - must be enthusiastic about working as part of a unified team and partnering with other teams within Aristocrat, Inc., both locally and globally.
• Outstanding communication skills, including the ability to gather pertinent data and information, actively listen, engage in open dialogue, articulate ideas clearly, negotiate difficult situations effectively, and manage and resolve conflicts.
