This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California, +2 more states.
• Assist in the formulation and implementation of Jade’s investor relations strategy alongside the CFO, CEO, and senior leadership team.
• Create and enhance investor messaging, Q&A, presentation materials, SEC filings, earnings updates, corporate communication materials, and conference materials.
• Act as a primary liaison for investors and sell-side analysts, ensuring communications are timely, accurate, consistent, and compliant with Regulation FD.
• Simplify intricate scientific, clinical, regulatory, competitive, and financial data into clear narratives for investors.
• Track investor sentiment, analyst commentary, trading patterns, peer disclosures, competitive movements, sector trends, and clinical or regulatory catalysts.
• Prepare briefing documents for executive leadership in advance of investor meetings, conferences, roadshows, analyst calls, and external engagements.
• Maintain and improve investor materials, such as corporate presentations, investor website content, fact sheets, event calendars, and FAQ documents.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with Finance, Legal, Clinical Development, Regulatory, Medical, Corporate Communications, and external advisors.
• Assist in quarterly reporting activities, which include call preparation, scripts, press releases, Q&A preparation, and consolidating post-call investor feedback.
• Support capital market initiatives, investor targeting, ownership analysis, conference strategies, and engagement planning.
• Summarize investor feedback, market perceptions, and emerging questions for leadership and the Board of Directors.
• Maintain a thorough understanding of Jade’s programs, target indications, competitive landscape, upcoming milestones, and investor diligence topics.
• Bachelor’s degree is required; an advanced degree in a scientific, medical, business, finance, or related field is preferred.
• A minimum of 10 years of relevant experience, including 5 to 8+ years in biotechnology investor relations, sell-side equity research, investment banking, corporate strategy, business development, corporate communications, or a similar capital markets role.
• Previous experience as a sell-side biotechnology or healthcare research associate, or similar public equity research, investor materials, or clinical-stage company analysis experience is highly valued.
• Strong comprehension of public biotechnology company dynamics, clinical development milestones, regulatory pathways, financing strategies, investor expectations, peer benchmarking, and disclosure considerations.
• Capability to clearly convey complex scientific and clinical concepts to institutional investors and analysts while preserving scientific accuracy and appropriate caveats.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with proven ability to develop polished investor-facing materials, briefing documents, Q&A, and executive talking points.
• High attention to detail, sound judgment, discretion with confidential information, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced public company environment.
• Strong analytical capabilities, including the ability to interpret clinical data, financial information, ownership data, analyst reports, and market feedback.
• Ability to collaborate effectively across scientific, clinical, finance, legal, and executive functions.
• Familiarity with Regulation FD and public company disclosure practices is preferred.
• Proficiency in Microsoft PowerPoint, Excel, Word, investor databases, and market intelligence tools.
• Familiarity with FactSet, CapIQ, Bloomberg, Visible Alpha, Ipreo, AlphaSense, or similar platforms is a plus.
• Willingness to travel occasionally for investor conferences, roadshows, company meetings, and other business needs.
• Periodic travel to team and company events.
• Salary range of $250,000 - $275,000.
