This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New York.
• Manage daily IT operations and oversee the company's application ecosystem, ensuring a well-governed and streamlined SaaS portfolio with SSO and SCIM provisioning whenever feasible.
• Develop and implement a roadmap aimed at accelerating IT maturity by utilizing AI-assisted tools to automate essential lifecycle workflows—specifically access provisioning, hardware management, and employee transitions.
• Identify and promote technology-driven opportunities that improve operational efficiency, foster innovation, enhance scalability, and minimize manual effort through automation.
• Provide leadership and guidance to IT Systems Administrators and Help Desk personnel.
• Create and manage the corporate IT budget, assess vendor contracts, and acquire software and hardware solutions.
• Collaborate with InfoSec to operationalize incident response and vulnerability management processes.
• Support a remote workforce utilizing GSuite, Okta, Claude, and Replit across a primarily MacBook Air and Windows 11 hardware fleet.
• 7+ years of IT experience, including 4+ years in leadership roles, preferably within rapidly growing technology firms.
• Willingness to engage in hands-on technical execution while also developing long-term strategies.
• An “AI mentality” in IT, with a demonstrated history of using automation and AI to decrease operational toil, streamline processes, and systematically eliminate low-value tasks through careful prioritization and backlog management.
• Strong ability and comfort in managing, integrating, supporting, and optimizing a diverse portfolio of business applications, with proven skills in strategically deciding when to build, buy, or outsource solutions while effectively managing vendors and external partners.
• Experience managing IT operations for a remote-first, international workforce.
• Proficient in identity and access management (SSO, SCIM, MFA) and familiar with contributing to compliance frameworks such as SOC 2, ISO 27001, or HIPAA.
