This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Texas.
• Develop and direct competitive strategies to secure pursuits by comprehending the strategic landscape, particularly the strengths, weaknesses, and strategies of competitors.
• Implement intelligence gathering initiatives focused on competitors to assist RTX businesses in understanding and countering competitor activities.
• Oversee growth strategies and customer engagements across various business units, U.S. Department of Defense services, and international partnerships.
• Assist the LADS Requirements and Capabilities team in identifying and cultivating new business opportunities, while positioning resources to meet LADS growth targets.
• Collaborate with functional leaders at LADS and related programs on activities aimed at achieving performance objectives and managing pursuits, while also supporting international MRAD captures when necessary.
• Act as the LADS customer liaison for LRAD at the Space and Missile Defense Command and associated commands that support Integrated Air and Missile Defense.
• Establish trust and strong relationships with customers and partners, clearly conveying customer needs to LADS business leadership.
• Aid in the development and marketing strategies to fulfill business objectives aligned with customer plans and initiatives.
• Prioritize customer focus, understanding the strategic environment, capabilities of threats, issues, priorities, limitations, and requirements. Create opportunities to assist in developing requirements and promote Raytheon solutions.
• Design and execute both internal and external customer engagement plans.
• Lead and facilitate internal Raytheon Gate Reviews; conduct both internal and external presentations.
• Collaborate with RTX Global Government Relations (GGR) at federal, state, and local levels on public policy to advocate and develop new technologies.
• Expect approximately 50% annual travel domestically and internationally for customer interactions and trade shows.
• Generally requires a University Degree or equivalent experience and at least 12 years of experience working with the Department of Defense, or an Advanced Degree with a minimum of 10 years’ experience.
• A minimum of 10 years’ experience in business development or program management within the U.S. Army.
• Former U.S. Military Officer with experience in PATRIOT Air and Missile Defense supporting U.S. Army Air Defense formations.
