This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Florida, +4 more states.
β’ Oversee the execution of HR compliance initiatives and projects, which includes defining the scope, assigning deliverables, scheduling, resolving issues, and coordinating resources.
β’ Lead, develop, and implement change management strategies, communication plans, and training for end-users pertaining to HR compliance programs and initiatives.
β’ Create, implement, and maintain HR policies and procedures that support ethical, legal, and compliant business practices; ensure regular updates to the Red Cross Employee Handbook.
β’ Supervise the Leaves of Absence and Accommodations team to guarantee compliant administration, excellent customer service, and alignment with workforce and business objectives.
β’ Direct and manage the development and administration of Equal Employment Opportunity (EEO) and Affirmative Action (AA) programs, ensuring adherence to federal and state regulations.
β’ Act as a representative of the organization with regulatory, enforcement, and community agencies as required; oversee and direct AA/EEO education and training initiatives.
β’ Develop and implement reporting and analytics methodologies to meet regulatory, compliance, and business requirements; analyze complex data to uncover trends, gaps, and areas for improvement.
β’ Manage and enhance HR compliance monitoring and tracking systems to ensure precision, efficiency, and reliability.
β’ Lead all internal and external HR audits, including planning, coordinating with stakeholders, reviewing data, analyzing findings, and creating corrective action plans.
β’ Function as a people manager, interpreting and administering policies, processes, and procedures that affect teams and subordinate functions.
β’ Education: A Bachelor's degree is mandatory*
β’ Experience: At least 7 years of relevant experience or an equivalent combination of education and related experience is necessary.
β’ Management Experience: 5 years of experience in people management.
β’ Proven ability to collaborate and influence across all levels of the organization.
β’ Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
β’ Demonstrated capacity to lead, mentor, and motivate teams towards a common vision.
β’ Experience in navigating leave administration and compliance issues within complex, multi-state organizations.
β’ Experience in vendor management.
