
Director, HR Business Partner – Medical Group

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Develop and enhance the HRBP partnership model while directly aiding in complex, high-stakes workforce and business decisions.
• Act as the main people advisor for Medical Group executives, physicians, APP leaders, and clinical operations management.
• Spearhead workforce strategy and planning, including capacity models that align with growth, billing, and provider coverage requirements.
• Collaborate with Total Rewards to help create competitive, fair, and sustainable compensation practices in areas lacking fully developed infrastructure.
• Assess and provide guidance on workforce decisions by highlighting trade-offs, cost implications, and downstream effects (e.g., turnover, staffing models, contract structures).
• Connect insights regarding hiring, turnover, contracts, and workforce trends to pinpoint risks and guide business decisions.
• Advise on organizational design and role clarity, assisting leaders with structure, leveling, reporting relationships, and role scope as the Medical Group progresses.
• Offer executive-level coaching and advisory support on performance, team effectiveness, and decision-making.
• Highlight workforce insights and risks by detecting trends across engagement, attrition, performance, and compliance.
• Influence senior leaders who may lack full visibility into workforce or financial implications, facilitating more informed, data-driven choices.
• Assist leaders in understanding and effectively utilizing strategic HR partnerships to enhance business results.
• Define partnership models and operating rhythms, establishing how HR and Medical Group leadership work together on talent and workforce priorities.
• A Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, or a related field is required; an MBA or another relevant advanced degree is preferred.
• Over 10 years of progressive HR experience, including leadership as a senior HR Business Partner.
• Experience in supporting clinical, provider, or regulated healthcare populations is strongly preferred.
• Proven success in: Workforce planning, Compensation strategy, Organizational design, and Leader coaching and advisory roles.
• Ability to act with sound judgment, accountability, and executive presence.
• Comfortable balancing strategic thinking with hands-on problem-solving.
