This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Massachusetts.
• Formulate and implement the long-term Hospital Operations strategy for the Spine division.
• Ensure accountability among Area Vice Presidents and Regional Managers.
• Provide guidance to senior commercial and functional leaders regarding operational strategy and business performance.
• Create scalable operating models, processes, and capabilities.
• Develop ISO conversion models and conduct inventory needs assessments.
• Lead, mentor, and cultivate managers and operational professionals.
• Establish strategies for talent development and succession planning.
• Enhance employee engagement, professional growth, and leadership skill-building.
• Oversee orthopedic consignment inventory, loaner assets, and equipment deployment across the U.S. business.
• Drive the annual field-inventory pullback and establish frameworks for inventory optimization.
• Lead inventory allocation, forecasting, replenishment, and governance of field-asset utilization.
• Represent the U.S. Commercial Organization in Integrated Business Planning (IBP) and Monthly Business Review (MBR) strategy discussions.
• Advocate for the FSN strategy to enhance inventory deployment efficiency.
• Support commercial growth, market expansion, and customer relations through a robust operational infrastructure.
• Direct Catalyst inventory planning and allocation efforts.
• Manage operational readiness and rollout for new product launches.
• Enhance customer experience, adoption, and sales force effectiveness through operational innovation.
• Improve P&L health via effective inventory management and execution through the U.S. Sales organization.
• Establish data-driven operating frameworks utilizing advanced analytics.
• Define and track business and operational performance metrics.
• Employ predictive analytics and business intelligence tools for informed planning and investment decisions.
• Lead intricate cross-functional initiatives involving Commercial, Supply Chain, Finance, Quality, Regulatory, and Global Operations.
• Foster stakeholder alignment and sponsor initiatives for transformational change.
• Ensure compliance with healthcare, regulatory, quality, and corporate standards.
• Establish governance and controls to reduce operational risk.
• Provide executive oversight for compliance, audit readiness, and adherence to policies.
• Bachelor’s Degree is mandatory.
• At least 12+ years of progressive leadership experience in Operations, Commercial Operations, Sales, Marketing, Supply Chain, Healthcare Management, Medical Devices, or related disciplines.
• A minimum of 5+ years of experience in people leadership, including managing teams and developing high-performing individuals.
• Proven track record in developing and executing enterprise-wide operational strategies.
• Ability to influence senior leadership and manage large, cross-functional initiatives within a complex matrix environment.
• Strong business acumen with the capability to translate operational insights into strategic recommendations.
• Advanced analytical skills.
• Proficient in Power BI, Tableau, Qlik, SAP, and other enterprise systems.
• Outstanding communication, executive presentation, and stakeholder management abilities.
• Experience in Medical Device, Orthopaedics, Healthcare, or similar industries is strongly preferred.
• Background in leading operational transformation, inventory optimization, or commercial enablement initiatives is preferred.
• Expertise in inventory strategy, field asset management, demand planning, and sales operations is preferred.
• Familiarity with healthcare regulations, supply chain management, and commercial execution models is preferred.
