This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Implement a comprehensive fundraising strategy that includes targeted approaches for cultivating, recruiting, and stewarding constituents; engage in meaningful outreach to potential constituents, fundraising groups, and external leaders to secure their participation and support.
• Collaborate with the Vice President and key stakeholders to build and oversee a strong prospect pipeline by identifying new opportunities through various channels and preparing persuasive materials aimed at acquiring and retaining fundraising groups.
• Collaborate with external leaders across various functions to create mutually beneficial partnerships that align with partner objectives and the goals of Blood Cancer United; identify and enhance value propositions that promote mission impact and sustainable revenue growth.
• Offer expertise, guidance, and coaching to regional teams in formulating and executing account strategies, managing high-level volunteer groups, driving revenue-generating activities, and ensuring fiscal controls are maintained.
• Act as a strategic thought partner to the Vice President in crafting plans for assigned products and initiatives, encompassing communications, timelines, implementation strategies, and performance metrics.
• Lead and finalize national campaign projects, including the development and updates of tools, data collection and analysis, training support, and other national initiatives.
• Provide specialized expertise across the collegiate sector to enhance participation, fortify strategic partnerships, and address campaign and mission funding requirements.
• Represent Blood Cancer United with integrity, professionalism, and alignment to the mission, embodying the One Blood Cancer United mindset and setting a high standard of excellence for peers and stakeholders.
• Meet annual revenue objectives by devising, executing, evaluating, and refining personalized fundraising and account strategies.
• Generate forecasts and projection reports by assessing recruitment and fundraising activities, fundraising efficiency, community engagement, campaign satisfaction, and overall campaign outcomes.
• Maintain a thorough understanding of Blood Cancer United's mission, programs, and organizational priorities while supporting broader organizational initiatives.
• Perform additional related duties as assigned.
• Bachelor's degree or an advanced degree is preferred.
• Eight or more years of experience in fundraising or sales, with a proven track record of engaging leaders and achieving fundraising or revenue objectives.
• Solid background in constituent recruitment, relationship management, cultivation, and stewardship.
• Familiarity with a constituent relationship management system, preferably Salesforce, along with proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Word, and PowerPoint.
• Experience in negotiation and solution-oriented problem solving.
