This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Ireland.
• Oversee and direct global payroll operations across the EMEA, Americas, and APJ regions.
• Ensure payroll processing for all Veeam employees, including expatriates and remote workers, is executed accurately and on time.
• Uphold compliance with local, national, and international payroll laws and tax regulations.
• Collaborate with HR and Finance teams to guarantee the accuracy of employee data and salary information.
• Implement and sustain payroll systems and software, enhancing automation and process efficiencies.
• Manage relationships with external payroll providers and supervise service delivery.
• Conduct payroll audits and engage in statutory reporting obligations.
• Address complex payroll issues and respond to employee inquiries promptly.
• Design and provide payroll-related training for HR and management teams.
• Track and report key payroll metrics and trends to senior leadership.
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Significant experience (15 years or more) in managing multi-country payroll operations, ideally within the software or technology industry.
• Comprehensive understanding of global payroll regulations, compliance, and tax matters.
• Proficient in payroll software systems (e.g., ADP, SAP SuccessFactors, Workday, etc.).
• Exceptional organizational, analytical, and problem-solving abilities.
• Excellent communication skills with the capability to collaborate effectively across cultures and departments.
• Ability to handle confidential information with sensitivity.
• Proficiency in English; knowledge of additional languages is a plus.
