This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Responsible for the complete lifecycle management of all external Global Clinical Operations (GCO) applications and platforms.
• Oversee end-to-end system management for all GCO external systems.
• Implement and deliver systems/applications and projects that align with GCO business requirements.
• Offer data, digital, and technology systems expertise to GCO stakeholders tailored to their domain-specific needs.
• Coordinate and manage system maintenance activities such as security patching, version upgrades, enhancements, and configuration changes aimed at optimizing business processes.
• Work alongside GCO and GRDTS leadership to formulate long-term strategies for enhancing external systems and making technology investments.
• Collaborate with stakeholders and subject matter experts (SMEs) to create business cases that validate and prioritize system initiatives.
• Ensure the integrity, security, and governance of data processed through external systems.
• Develop and maintain thorough documentation related to system architecture, functionality, and operational procedures.
• Provide support and guidance to end-users, conducting training programs to improve system usage and productivity.
• Over 10 years of experience with validated applications in a pharmaceutical or regulated setting.
• More than 8 years of experience in a GxP or regulated environment, with a solid understanding of SLC methodology, 21CFR Part 11, and GAMP principles.
• At least 5 years of demonstrated leadership experience at a senior level, managing a team of direct reports and associate staff.
• Proven track record in directing, planning, installing, implementing, and maintaining software solutions, particularly in a SaaS/Hybrid cloud environment.
• Familiarity with O365, active directory technology and schema, and SaaS to SaaS application integration frameworks.
• Working knowledge of IaaS (Amazon Web Services, Azure), PaaS, and SaaS architectures and technology options is a plus.
• Strong expertise in data management practices, including ensuring data integrity, accuracy, and reliability.
• Extensive experience in delivering technical projects and managing multiple initiatives across various functions in a global context.
