This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• In this crucial position, the Director of Global Content Production is tasked with implementing Amgen's content supply chain and spearheading the global production capability that delivers content efficiently across various brands, markets, and channels.
• This leader manages a worldwide team and a network of production partners responsible for executing thousands of content production projects each year across web, CRM, Veeva, digital, print, localization, and omnichannel platforms.
• The role entails accountability for production quality, speed, compliance, cost efficiency, partner performance, and the effective integration of automation and AI-enhanced production capabilities.
• Lead a global team of production operations leaders in North America, Europe, and Asia focused on production delivery and operational excellence.
• Establish the operational model, governance framework, and service levels for the Global Content Production organization.
• Foster operational consistency across regions, brands, and partners to enhance speed, scalability, and the overall stakeholder experience.
• Supervise a global network of production agencies, creative partners, localization vendors, and content operations suppliers to support large-scale content delivery.
• Oversee production budgets, forecasts, and resource allocation to ensure operations are cost-effective and efficient.
• Collaborate with Content Transformation and Technology teams to operationalize new production capabilities, workflows, and platforms.
• Doctorate degree and 4 years of experience in global content production operations, content supply chain management, and digital/omnichannel content delivery OR
• Master’s degree and 7 years of experience in global content production operations, content supply chain management, and digital/omnichannel content delivery OR
• Bachelor’s degree and 9 years of experience in global content production operations, content supply chain management, and digital/omnichannel content delivery.
• Strong project and stakeholder management abilities with a proven record of successful cross-functional collaboration.
• Demonstrated capacity to translate strategy into action via detailed implementation plans.
• Strong analytical and organizational skills, with the ability to monitor executional performance and suggest enhancements.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills to effectively influence across various levels.
• Experience collaborating with agencies, operations teams, and brand teams in matrixed environments.
• Comfortable navigating uncertainty and leading change in dynamic marketing landscapes.
• Familiarity with life sciences or regulated industries.
