Director, Gas Asset Performance

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Texas.

📋 Description

• Act as the primary enterprise leader for the performance of Divert's biogas and renewable natural gas (RNG) assets across all operational facilities.

• Responsible for optimizing asset availability, methane recovery, gas quality, safety, and lifecycle value through collaboration with Operations, Maintenance, Engineering, and external technology partners.

• Provide strategic technical direction, promote continuous improvement, set enterprise standards, and ensure that Divert's gas assets achieve top-tier performance.

• Own the overarching strategy for gas handling and RNG assets.

• Collaborate closely with Operations and Maintenance to enhance RNG performance.

• Establish and monitor performance metrics and benchmarks across all operational facilities.

• Create a long-term roadmap for gas asset performance.

• Lead investigations into root causes for significant production losses and equipment failures.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering or a related engineering field.

• Over 10 years of experience in supporting, operating, maintaining, optimizing, or commissioning industrial gas handling, RNG, biogas, or similar process facilities.

• Proven track record of enhancing operational performance across multiple sites.

• Experience in influencing cross-functional teams without direct authority.

• Experience in managing OEMs, engineering consultants, specialty contractors, and technology vendors.

• Strong knowledge of industrial asset management, root cause analysis, continuous improvement, and lifecycle planning.

• Exceptional communication, organizational, and business acumen with the skill to translate technical challenges into operational and capital priorities.
