• Leads the development and execution of corporate policies through strategic alliances.

• Identifies, tracks, and influences government legislation and public policy.
• Educates federal policymakers on industry-related issues.
• Represents Illumina in designated trade associations and coalitions.
• Delivers comprehensive analysis of proposed federal administrative and legislative measures.
• Engages directly and compellingly with government officials.
• Tracks and monitors legislative and regulatory activities.
• Bachelor’s degree.
• 15-18 years of relevant experience.
• Over 10 years of management experience.
• Experience in working with Congress.
• Proficient in communicating and presenting to senior-level stakeholders.
• Strong working knowledge of federal legislative and regulatory processes.
• Ability to foster strong relationships.
• Excellent problem-solving and negotiation abilities.
• Outstanding written communication and large audience presentation skills.
