This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Take ownership of the Interventions technical roadmap, leading the strategy for enhancing clinical data accuracy and effectively addressing clinical care gaps.
• Spearhead the diagnostic precision strategy by refining assessment surfacing, implementing member-specific modeling, and enhancing the extraction of high-quality evidence from clinical data sources.
• Supervise the expansion of Interventions systems to support a rapidly increasing member base, which includes a complete overhaul of the core data infrastructure and ensuring the stability of the ML pipeline through decoupling and improved QA environments.
• Manage collaborative partnerships with Clinical Operations, Product, and leadership from cross-functional teams to ensure that technical investments alleviate clinical bottlenecks and enhance plan performance.
• Propel the adoption of an AI-driven Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), utilizing AI tools to expedite coding, testing, and deployment processes while upholding rigorous code quality and security standards.
• You possess over 12 years of engineering experience (individual contributor and leadership), particularly in healthcare data, clinical interoperability, or ML-based healthcare products.
• You have extensive knowledge of clinical data structures (e.g., ICD-10) and best practices for constructing high-integrity clinical data pipelines.
• You have demonstrated experience in leading cross-functional teams composed of engineers, data scientists, and clinical operators to deliver intricate software solutions in regulated environments.
• You have experience managing ML model lifecycles and deploying LLM-driven features to enhance product accuracy and user engagement.
• You have a background in implementing and scaling AI-assisted development workflows (e.g., AI code assistants, automated testing, or AI-driven CI/CD) to boost engineering productivity.
• Proven experience in mentoring and developing engineering managers and senior individual contributors.
• You have shown the ability to foster a high-performance engineering culture that emphasizes velocity, quality, and psychological safety.
• Experience in leading organizational change, including structural reorganizations and process improvements.
• Strong skills in strategic resource allocation, capacity planning, and managing technical debt in a dynamic product environment.
• Exceptional stakeholder management abilities, with the capacity to translate complex technical limitations into clear, actionable business strategies for non-technical leadership.
