This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Arizona, +10 more states.
• Design, implement, and oversee the ECM operational quality management program for all health plans and ECM lines of business.
• Establish quality standards across the enterprise, set documentation expectations, and promote operational best practices.
• Create standardized workflows and quality governance processes to enhance consistency among ECM teams.
• Develop scalable quality assurance frameworks that facilitate organizational growth and payer expansion.
• Collaborate with Clinical Operations leadership to align operational quality initiatives with care delivery objectives and member outcomes.
• Lead the organization’s preparedness for audits conducted by health plans, DHCS, and regulatory bodies.
• Oversee internal audit programs that focus on ECM documentation quality, workflow compliance, adherence to timeliness standards, and regulatory compliance.
• Create and maintain audit readiness scorecards, corrective action plans, and monitoring processes.
• Analyze trends in quality, audit findings, operational KPIs, and performance data to pinpoint areas for improvement.
• Develop and manage onboarding, educational, remediation, and competency programs for ECM personnel.
• A minimum of 7 years of experience in healthcare operations, care management, population health, managed care, or quality operations.
• At least 3 years of leadership experience in managing operational quality, audits, education, or initiatives aimed at performance improvement.
• Strong understanding of CalAIM ECM requirements, Medi-Cal managed care operations, and expectations of health plans.
• Proven leadership experience in developing clinical education, training programs, and quality improvement operational processes in dynamic or rapidly growing healthcare settings.
• Practical experience with regulatory compliance and involvement in at least one full accreditation cycle.
• Extensive knowledge in analyzing operational data, quality metrics, and performance trends to inform business decisions.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the capability to convey complex clinical and regulatory concepts to diverse audiences.
