This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Alabama, +35 more states.
• Develop and oversee the long-term business strategy for automotive data and connectivity across various platforms.
• Identify and create new business models and revenue opportunities utilizing vehicle data, data services, and connectivity solutions.
• Keep track of regulatory, privacy, and industry trends associated with vehicle data and telematics.
• Implement data governance, privacy compliance, and best practices for quality assurance in collaboration with Information Security.
• Collaborate with Data Intelligence, IT, Product Planning, R&D, and Aftersales to convert data into actionable insights, products, and tools.
• Manage the design, development, and rollout of connected vehicle services such as over-the-air updates, remote diagnostics, software-defined features, and infotainment.
• Facilitate the integration of software and connectivity capabilities into vehicle platforms.
• Lead collaborations with technology providers, telecom operators, and data platforms.
• Establish KPIs and success metrics for the adoption, performance, and profitability of connected services.
• Ensure compliance with cybersecurity, safety, and data privacy standards across connected vehicle systems.
• Cultivate strategic partnerships and lead commercial negotiations and contract agreements.
• Shape product and technology roadmaps informed by market dynamics and customer requirements.
• Assemble and manage a cross-functional product management team.
• Set priorities, allocate resources, oversee performance management, budgeting, reporting, and staff development.
• Perform additional duties as assigned and adhere to company policies and standards.
• Minimum of 10 years of relevant experience.
• At least 5 years of team management experience, demonstrating a history of mentoring, leading, and retaining a highly effective team.
• Over 7 years of experience with an automotive OEM in a corporate, regional, or field capacity, with a preferred understanding of OEM/dealership relationships.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration/Management.
• A combination of education, training, and/or work experience may be accepted in lieu of a degree.
• Proven ability to build relationships, influence, and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
• Capability to guide individuals, departments, or groups towards achieving tasks.

• Strong analytical and financial acumen, including the ability to develop and assess revenue models.
• Excellent interpersonal, written, oral, and presentation skills.
• Proficient in selecting, training, developing, supervising, motivating, and evaluating staff.
• Strong organizational skills and ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
• Capability to plan personnel assignments and allocate resources efficiently.
• Ability to establish and maintain relationships with both internal and external stakeholders.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, Project, PowerPoint, Teams, and Outlook.
• Ability to learn and effectively utilize other company software applications.
• Capability to meet the specified physical demands, including seated work, communication, hearing, repetitive motions, coordination, and observation.
