This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Oversee the daily operations of all deposit functions, which encompass deposit account onboarding and maintenance, wire transfers, debit card operations, ACH processing, check processing and returns, and online banking.
• Lead the Treasury Management team while being accountable for commercial treasury management operations.
• Strategize operational enhancements, troubleshoot operational issues, and implement corrective measures to ensure efficient operations. Assess staffing needs; oversee the hiring, development, and management of staff; guide training and development initiatives to optimize strengths and capabilities. Assist in crafting the department budget, track expenditures, and clarify any variances.
• Establish and uphold all departmental policies and procedures. Guarantee compliance with departmental procedures and control standards, making adjustments to existing controls or implementing new ones as required.
• Organize the department's readiness and responses to both internal and external audits and examinations, both in the short and long term.
• Manage responsibilities related to Treasury Management and Deposit Operations concerning conversions, project planning, product enhancements and implementations, process integration with other departments, as well as the disaster recovery plans for Treasury Management and Deposit Operations.
• Collaborate with other departments to implement new products and services. Stay informed about trends and issues in the banking industry to assist in evaluating needs and opportunities for service improvements or the introduction of new products.
• Bachelor’s Degree is highly preferred.
• A minimum of 10 years of prior banking experience is required.
• Experience in leading diverse teams, ranging from entry-level to middle management positions.
• Solid knowledge of financial products and services, as well as banking regulations and laws.
• Strong accounting and mathematical skills.
• Capability and enthusiasm to excel in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment with frequent routine changes. Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effortlessly.
• Highly organized self-starter with exceptional attention to detail, capable of completing tasks with minimal oversight and supervision.
• Strong communicator with excellent active listening skills, proficient writing and speaking abilities, and the capacity to draft professional correspondence. Must be able to interact tactfully and empathetically with customers, employees, and bank management.
• Proficient in the Microsoft Office suite, including Word, Excel, and Outlook, along with other software utilized in the department.
