📋 Description

• We are looking for a strategic and technically proficient Director of Data Products Engineering to oversee the architecture, engineering, and delivery of AI products, data products, and scalable data solutions within our fintech and payment processing ecosystem.

• This individual will lead the company's shift towards a product-focused data operating model by creating trusted, reusable, scalable, and business-aligned AI/data products that support analytics, operational intelligence, AI/ML initiatives, customer experiences, regulatory reporting, and enterprise decision-making.

• The position demands a robust blend of strategic data solution architecture expertise, modern cloud data engineering leadership, and a product-oriented mindset. The ideal candidate will guide teams in engineering high-quality AI/data products, designing scalable data architectures, and facilitating reliable enterprise data consumption at scale.


⛳️ Requirements

• A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering, Statistics, Mathematics, Information Systems, or a related field is required; a Master’s or PhD is preferred.

• Over 10 years of progressive leadership experience in Data, Analytics, or AI/ML organizations.

• More than 5 years of experience managing enterprise-level analytics, data science, or AI engineering teams.

• Strong hands-on proficiency in predictive analytics, machine learning, recommendation systems, decision intelligence, and AI-enabled analytics.

• Demonstrated experience in building scalable enterprise data products.

• Extensive experience with modern cloud data platforms and analytical ecosystems, including:

• Snowflake

• Dataiku

• dbt

• Fivetran

• Apache Iceberg

• Looker / LookML

• Strong technical skills in:

• Python

• SQL

• ML frameworks and AI tooling

• Cloud platforms such as AWS

• Excellent executive communication and stakeholder management abilities.

• Experience leading within intricate, matrixed organizations.

• Outstanding communication and stakeholder management skills with the capability to influence both executive and technical audiences.
