Director, Customer Marketing

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Develop and implement the global strategy for engaging customers as advocates, storytellers, and strategic partners for VAST.

• Create a scalable program that highlights the most significant customer voices in AI today.

• Collaborate closely with executive leadership, product teams, sales, and communications to ensure precise deployment of customer stories.

• Establish and expand a customer advocacy platform to generate measurable impact across the pipeline, deal acceleration, and customer-driven growth initiatives.

• Oversee the production of high-impact customer content, including case studies, videos, keynote presentations, blogs, and social media contributions.

• Facilitate customer involvement at flagship events and curate participants for keynote and breakout speaking opportunities.

• Provide sales teams with essential customer proof points to expedite deal closure.

• Set success metrics related to pipeline influence, deal acceleration, and brand impact.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 12 years of experience in customer marketing, advocacy, or similar roles within enterprise technology.

• Demonstrated success in building and scaling customer marketing programs in high-growth settings.

• Strong executive presence with the capability to engage credibly with CIOs, CTOs, and leaders in AI/engineering.

• Exceptional storytelling abilities, with a talent for converting complex technology into clear and engaging narratives.

• Experience in working closely with PR, analyst relations, and executive teams.

• A deep understanding of enterprise infrastructure, data platforms, or AI ecosystems is highly preferred.

• A builder mindset with the capacity to function both strategically and in a hands-on manner.
