This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Lead the Consumer Insights function and establish a strategic roadmap for insights related to brand, growth, and experience initiatives.
• Develop best-in-class research standards, frameworks, and tools that enhance the quality, rigor, and impact of insights throughout the organization.
• Ensure that insights are incorporated into key business decisions, assisting teams in translating consumer understanding into actionable strategies.
• Define the long-term vision and operational model for Consumer Insights at AG1, ensuring that insights capabilities grow alongside business expansion and shifting organizational priorities.
• Identify emerging global consumer, cultural, category, and market trends that provide strategic opportunities, innovation, and business planning insights.
• Ensure that consumer insights strategies accurately represent regional, cultural, and market-specific dynamics as AG1 continues to expand on a global scale.
• Foster alignment among cross-functional stakeholders regarding insights priorities, ensuring that research investments target the highest-impact business opportunities.
• Act as a trusted strategic advisor to senior leadership, converting complex consumer and market dynamics into clear business recommendations.
• Oversee all insights initiatives that support brand strategy, track brand performance, and evaluate marketing effectiveness.
• Own and enhance the brand tracking program to ensure it provides actionable insights for marketing and growth teams.
• Collaborate closely with Marketing and Growth teams to inform campaign development, optimize messaging, and refine audience strategy through consumer insights.
• Supervise all UX/UI research initiatives to support enhancements in product and digital experiences.
• Ensure that consumer insights guide design decisions, usability improvements, and customer journey optimization across digital platforms.
• Partner with Product, Design, and Engineering teams to instill consumer-centered thinking into product development and experience design.
• Guide consumer-centered product and experience strategy by converting behavioral, attitudinal, and usability insights into actionable recommendations.
• Influence improvements across the entire customer journey in digital and product experiences through a deep understanding of consumer needs, friction points, and motivations.
• Provide strategic oversight for New Product Development research initiatives.
• Collaborate with the Director of Integrated Marketing, who will continue leading NPD research, to ensure alignment between innovation insights and broader consumer and brand strategies.
• Assist in prioritizing and applying research that informs product innovation and concept development.
• Build robust partnerships with Marketing, Growth, Product, and other cross-functional teams to ensure that insights are trusted, credible, and integrated into decision-making.
• Clearly and effectively communicate insights to senior leadership, facilitating alignment and strategic clarity.
• Develop scalable research frameworks, tools, vendor strategies, and operational processes that enable efficient, high-quality insights generation across various markets, audiences, and business initiatives.
• Maintain organization and operational efficiency within the insights function.
• Mentor team members and promote a collaborative, high-performing insights culture.
• 10+ years of experience in consumer insights, customer insights, UX research, market research, or related strategy-focused fields, including experience leading complex, cross-functional insights initiatives.
• Proven track record in building and evolving insights functions, frameworks, or capabilities that influence strategic business decisions across marketing, growth, product, brand, and customer experience.
• Extensive expertise in both qualitative and quantitative research methodologies, with the capacity to translate complex consumer data into actionable business insights.
• Strong business acumen and strategic thinking abilities, with a demonstrated aptitude for linking consumer understanding to organizational priorities, growth opportunities, and customer outcomes.
• Experience in influencing senior leaders and cross-functional stakeholders through compelling storytelling, executive communication, and evidence-based recommendations.
• Proven ability to operate effectively in fast-paced, evolving environments characterized by high levels of ambiguity and organizational complexity.
• Experience leading large-scale or multi-stakeholder research initiatives encompassing brand, product, customer experience, and innovation efforts.
• Strong capabilities in organizational leadership and operational excellence, including experience in scaling processes, enhancing workflows, and elevating research rigor and effectiveness.
• Experience in DTC, wellness, healthcare, consumer products, subscription businesses, or high-growth settings is preferred.
• Experience supporting global and multi-market insights initiatives, considering regional, cultural, and market-specific nuances.
