📋 Description

• Accountable for directing the corporate real estate strategy, transaction management, workplace planning, and governance initiatives throughout the U.S. portfolio.

• Collaborates with business leaders to pinpoint and implement real estate solutions that align with business goals, enhance employee experience, foster growth, and achieve cost efficiency.

• Manages third-party service providers, including brokers, architects, and legal advisors, to facilitate approved real estate transactions and workplace solutions that adhere to corporate standards.

• Formulates and implements corporate real estate strategies that are in line with business objectives, workforce planning, financial targets, and employee experience programs.

• Directs strategic planning for office, branch, and workplace needs across the portfolio.

• Establishes workplace standards, occupancy strategies, and space utilization guidelines that cater to business requirements and corporate objectives.

• Supervises workplace programming and space planning needs in collaboration with business stakeholders.

• Exhibits knowledge of market data, corporate real estate transaction history, and successful outcomes in a related corporate real estate position.

• Oversees all real estate transaction activities, including site selection, market analysis, financial assessments, lease negotiations, renewals, relocations, expansions, contractions, and disposals.

• Constructs transaction strategies and business cases to support real estate decision-making.

• Delivers recommendations and secures executive stakeholder alignment for proposed transactions.

• Submits and obtains approval for all relevant projects through established Capital Committee governance processes.

• Directs and oversees third-party brokerage firms responsible for market searches, site assessments, financial evaluations, and transaction negotiations.

• Collaborates with external legal counsel to negotiate and finalize leases and related real estate agreements that meet corporate standards and risk management requirements.

• Sets performance expectations and manages relationships with brokers, architects, and other strategic service providers.

• Works alongside architects and workplace consultants to create programming requirements and space plans that align with business strategy, employee experience, operational needs, and corporate workplace standards.

• Ensures proposed workplace solutions are in accordance with approved space standards, utilization objectives, and budget constraints.

• Reviews and endorses conceptual layouts, test fits, and workplace planning suggestions.

• Cultivates strong relationships with executive leadership and business stakeholders to comprehend evolving real estate needs.

• Facilitates cross-functional collaboration among Finance, Legal, Human Resources, Technology, Security, and business units throughout the transaction lifecycle.

• Develops and maintains policies, procedures, and governance frameworks that support corporate real estate activities.

• Provides leadership, coaching, and development opportunities to Corporate Real Estate team members.


⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Real Estate Management, Finance, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

• Master's Degree is preferred.

• At least seven (7) years of progressive leadership experience in Corporate Real Estate or Facilities planning within a rapidly growing environment.

• Proven experience working collaboratively with other business units to achieve company goals and standards.

• Proficient in developing and managing budgets with outstanding financial, vendor, and contract management abilities.

• Strong understanding of domestic commercial real estate processes and regulations.

• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint, including charting and graphing capabilities.

• Familiarity with Microsoft Project is desirable.

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

• Outstanding organizational skills and attention to detail.

• Exceptional problem-solving and business judgment capabilities.

• Strong negotiation skills.

• Self-motivated, self-managed, and eager to take on new responsibilities.

• Strong capacity to build relationships with stakeholders.
