This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Direct the strategic vision for converged TV and digital video projects.
• Advocate for innovation in CTV and digital video across planning, buying, activation, optimization, reporting, and marketplace development.
• Formulate insights on ad technology, publisher advancements, video consumption patterns, measurement, currency, and emerging CTV prospects.
• Define the vision and planning strategy for digital video within the broader media plan and consumer journey.
• Develop scalable best practices, process enhancements, educational resources, and automation possibilities.
• Offer leadership, mentorship, and guidance to members of the Digital Video team.
• Cultivate relationships with senior clients, internal stakeholders, media partners, and ad tech collaborators.
• Manage performance and brand-building strategies for CTV and digital video initiatives.
• Simplify complex marketplace, platform, and measurement advancements into clear directives.
• Collaborate with cross-channel planning teams to assess audiences, historical performance, scorecards, and client requirements.
• Supervise internal processes and QA workflows to guarantee accurate, efficient, and timely campaign launches.
• Report on practice performance, progress towards goals, insights from the marketplace, and future strategies to agency leadership.
• Oversee and enhance digital video processes.
• Align programmatic video initiatives with marketing, media, measurement, and business goals.
• Ensure that strategy, planning, activation, and reporting adhere to Rain’s standards.
• Identify new service opportunities, strengthen partner connections, support new business initiatives, and promote internal education.
• Bachelor’s degree in advertising, marketing, communications, or a related discipline, or equivalent professional experience.
• Over 8 years of hands-on media experience.
• Strong emphasis on digital video planning, CTV strategy, and campaign execution.
• Comprehensive understanding of platform and publisher relationships, data targeting capabilities, buying types, inventory options, and the evolving CTV landscape.
• Experience with DSPs, CTV publishers, measurement partners, currency solutions, trafficking processes, reporting outputs, and performance analytics.
• Capability to analyze performance data, extract meaningful narratives, and convey recommendations effectively.
• Experience in mentoring, developing, and managing team members.
• Curiosity and passion for ad technology, video innovation, new marketplace models, and evolving audience behaviors.
• Strong project management abilities and meticulous attention to detail.
• Ability to balance strategic leadership with operational excellence.
