This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Connecticut, +2 more states.
• Take ownership of and expand a portfolio of pharmaceutical and healthcare accounts, focusing on revenue growth, retention, and the development of long-term partnerships.
• Act as the senior commercial lead across relationships with pharmaceutical manufacturers and agencies, fostering executive-level engagement within planning, strategy, investment, activation, and procurement teams.
• Drive strategic discussions with clients regarding HCP engagement, endemic media, sponsorships, programmatic activation, audience intelligence, and opportunities for AI-enabled engagement.
• Create integrated commercial solutions that align client goals with epocrates capabilities across direct, sponsorship, custom, and programmatic offerings.
• Manage complex sales processes from opportunity identification through negotiation, execution, and sustained account growth.
• Identify and pursue new business prospects within assigned accounts, agency partnerships, and strategic alliances.
• Serve as a strategic advisor to clients and represent epocrates in the pharmaceutical and healthcare media landscape.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent relevant professional experience.
• Over 10 years of experience in pharmaceutical advertising, healthcare media, HCP engagement, agency partnerships, digital media sales, or similar commercial leadership roles.
• Robust expertise in endemic healthcare media and a solid understanding of HCP engagement environments and marketing strategies driven by clinical workflows.
• Preferred experience working with major pharmaceutical marketing and media agencies, including organizations like CMI Media Group, Omnicom Group, and IPG.
• Proven track record of managing complex, matrixed relationships across pharmaceutical brands, business units, and cross-functional teams.
• Strong grasp of programmatic activation, audience targeting, data-driven optimization, and the evolving landscape of healthcare media.
• Experience utilizing AI-enabled tools and engagement strategies to enhance campaign performance, workflow efficiency, and overall commercial results.
• Established ability to influence executive-level stakeholders, both internally and externally.
• Excellent executive presence along with consultative selling, negotiation, communication, and strategic planning skills.
• Proven effectiveness in dynamic, fast-paced commercial organizations.
• Preferred existing relationships within pharmaceutical manufacturers and Northeast healthcare agency networks.
