This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Provides support for pharmacy and clinical operation functions across the company to ensure safe and cost-efficient operations.
• Establishes high-performance standards for personnel within the area and ensures compliance with all company philosophies, procedures, and regulations.
• Oversees Clinical Services support to guarantee that clinical, ethical, and operational assistance is available to clinicians during and after business hours, particularly when patient care guidance is necessary.
• Ensures that all pharmacy and clinical operations, practices, and procedures comply with the licensing and standard requirements set by state, federal, and regulatory agencies.
• Manages the coordination and development of REMS program management tools to meet FDA medication requirements and company processes.
• Facilitates coordination regarding Clinical Services support across various company departments, which may encompass reimbursement, sales and marketing, operations, procurement, human resources, and compliance teams.
• Develops and monitors Location Performance Improvement Programs, including audits, in alignment with company policies and procedures.
• Acts as a drug information resource for the company.
• Contributes to the professional body of knowledge and promotes the company within the industry by preparing papers, reports, posters, and presentations for management as well as for professional publications and conferences.
• Guides the development of Clinical Services resources for new drugs, indications, and formulations to enhance implementation and clinical competency among team members.
• Maintains clinical skills and knowledge in pharmacotherapy, intravenous therapy, and sterile compounding through continuous education, literature review, and participation in relevant in-services, seminars, and conferences.
• Conducts branch and record audits regularly to pinpoint areas for improvement and ensure adherence to quality standards.
• Communicates effectively and adheres to established channels of authority and communication throughout the organization.
• Complies with all Company Policies, Procedures, and Standards of Conduct as outlined during initial orientation and referenced in branch handbooks, guides, and manuals.
• Reports any known or suspected violations of policies and procedures, regulations, or standards of conduct to the appropriate manager(s).
• A minimum of a Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy (BSPharm) is required.
• A Doctor of Pharmacy (Pharm D) is preferred.
• An active and unrestricted Pharmacist license in any state is necessary.
• At least 4 years of experience in pharmacy operations and clinical pharmacy home and specialty infusion therapy is required.
• Strong knowledge and experience in the clinical aspects of home infusion and specialty therapies are essential.
• Familiarity with accreditation and regulatory components of home and specialty infusion is expected.
• Demonstrated management skills and experience supervising pharmacy aspects of home and specialty infusion therapy are needed.
• Experience in supporting new drug (indication/formulation) activities is advantageous.
• Proficiency in the company’s pharmacy dispensing system (e.g., CPR Plus) is preferred.
• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills are crucial for interactions with patients, clients, management, and staff.
• Strong planning, problem-solving, organizational, time management, and customer service skills are necessary.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with others and work as part of a team is required.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook.
• Willingness and ability to travel as necessary to conduct branch audits and support accreditation activities across multiple locations.
