Director, Clinical Crisis Response – High-Acuity Care Safety

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Oversee the day-to-day management and supervision of the Crisis Managers team.

• Monitor all ongoing crisis cases, ensuring appropriate actions are being implemented.

• Act as the primary escalation point for high-risk or complex scenarios.

• Make prompt decisions during crisis situations as necessary.

• Ensure team members adhere to crisis protocols and safety guidelines.

• Establish and maintain effective supervision systems for all crisis-related activities.

• Assess crisis cases post-incident to identify successes and areas for improvement.

• Enhance and develop crisis response workflows and systems to facilitate scalability.

• Provide training and coaching to staff on crisis response, de-escalation techniques, and safety planning.

• Collaborate with clinical and product teams to enhance the delivery of crisis care across the platform.

• Deliver direct patient care during crisis interventions and/or post-crisis stabilization, which may include brief stabilization sessions or group support, adapting to program needs.

• Step in directly to assist with high-acuity cases when required.

⛳️ Requirements

• Must be an independently licensed mental health clinician (PhD, LCSW, LPC, or equivalent).

• Must be eligible for licensure in all 50 states.

• A minimum of 8 years of clinical experience post-licensure.

• At least 2 years of experience leading or managing crisis care or high-acuity clinical teams.

• Proven experience in supervising clinicians or care teams.

• Strong judgment in high-risk, rapidly evolving situations.

• Ability to remain calm and decisive under pressure.

• Comfortable operating in a dynamic startup environment.

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
