Director, Clinical Affairs – Interventional

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Minnesota.

📋 Description

• Oversee the planning, execution, and reporting of the Interventional clinical education initiatives in North America across all four product lines.

• Lead and cultivate a high-performing team of clinical content specialists by establishing departmental and team objectives, recruiting, fostering team development, mentoring, and managing performance.

• Formulate a strategic plan and identify, implement, and deliver CMA tactics within the set timeline and budget.

• Manage or facilitate scientific exchanges with healthcare professionals and medical societies, consistently ensuring that Clinical and Medical Affairs serve as the internal subject matter experts for these interactions.

• Provide or assign clinical expertise for the creation or revision of marketing materials and assist in the approval process.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree is required, preferably with a concentration in life sciences or a related field.

• Current or prior professional medical licensure, such as RN/BSN, RCIS, RT, or MD, is preferred.

• Experience in a Cardiac Catheterization Laboratory is preferred.

• Alternatively, clinical proficiency in an area related to Teleflex Interventional's Structural Heart or Mechanical Circulatory Support franchises is acceptable.

• A minimum of eight years’ experience in the medical device industry is required.

• At least three years of experience in people management, including the development of team members.

• Experience in the development and delivery of professional education for healthcare professionals (HCPs) is necessary.

• Proven experience in designing clinical education curricula and familiarity with educational methodologies.
