Director, Clinical Account Services

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Virginia.

📋 Description

• Supervise all clinical operations for Virginia Medicaid POS-PDL clinical pharmacy accounts.

• Promote additional clinical services and ensure the renewal of accounts.

• Recognize client issues that need clinical solutions and facilitate their implementation and monitoring.

• Guide clinical liaisons for designated contracts.

• Assist Account Managers in managing client relationships, adopting clinical solutions, and overseeing account P&L.

• Create and monitor metrics to assess program quality and impact on care costs.

• Collaborate in identifying, marketing, and evaluating enhancements to clinical programs and best practices.

• Support legislative policy requests and supply benchmarking metrics.

• Generate and maintain ad hoc reports.

• Communicate updates on program progress, set priorities, uphold client relationships, and address information requests.

• Evaluate, investigate, and resolve complex issues.

• Develop, implement, and oversee project plans, requirements, and timelines.

• Utilize best practices with business process owners and stakeholders.

• Coordinate with Operations, Rebate, and internal teams for consistent program delivery and performance tracking.

• Standardize operations wherever feasible.

• Provide comprehensive project coordination for contract clinical functions.

• Manage revenue targets and administrative costs.

• Cultivate relationships with key client contacts to foster revenue growth.

• Ensure client satisfaction with services and outcomes.

• Oversee the implementation of new solutions and products, acting as the liaison between the company and clients.

• Adjust implementation strategies within budgetary and operational parameters.

⛳️ Requirements

• Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) or Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy.

• Active pharmacist license in good standing with the State Board of Pharmacy.

• Minimum of 8 years in clinical account management.

• At least 5 years of leadership, supervisory, or people management experience.

• Must be eligible to work in the United States without requiring a work visa or residency sponsorship.

• Over 8 years of experience in pharmacy.

• More than 5 years in Pharmacy Benefits Management (PBM), health plans, or Medicaid clinical customer service.

• Proficient in MS Office Suite and COGNOS or similar software.

• Demonstrated ability to plan, organize, schedule, direct, control, and monitor project activities.

• Required project management experience and knowledge of health plans, PBMs, or Medicaid.

• Compliance with security responsibilities and adherence to applicable legal, regulatory, and contractual requirements, as well as internal policies and procedures.
