Director, Cash Management

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Execute and support the strategic vision for designated Cash Management functions both domestically and in global service delivery centers.

• Supervise daily cash management operations, which encompass bank reconciliation, posting, and resolving unapplied transactions.

• Implement and refine best practices, policies, and standardized workflows through ongoing improvement initiatives.

• Manage reconciliation health and outstanding payments.

• Direct action plans to address unposted payments by means of reconciliation, unapplied resolution, root cause analysis, and denial mitigation.

• Develop, track, and meet departmental metrics and enterprise benchmarks.

• Foster productive inter-departmental relationships through collaboration, leadership, and comprehensive problem-solving.

• Examine collection trends and the effectiveness of payment processing.

• Assist in preparing executive summaries for the leadership team.

• Oversee relationships with domestic and global service delivery centers, including productivity goals and performance metrics.

• Tackle performance deficiencies and necessary remediation actions.

• Collaborate with Transformation teams, global service delivery center leaders, and domestic reconciliation/posting staff to uphold client expectations.

• Execute special projects and other assigned responsibilities.


⛳️ Requirements

• A Bachelor’s Degree in Healthcare Administration or a related field is preferred.

• Equivalent training and/or experience will be considered.

• A minimum of seven (7) years of experience in revenue cycle management within healthcare and/or health insurance is required.

• At least four (4) years of supervisory, management, or leadership experience is preferred.

• Experience in global service delivery reconciliation/posting is mandatory.

• Comprehensive working knowledge of the revenue cycle is essential.

• Proficient understanding of cash reconciliation and posting is necessary.

• Strong supervisory and management capabilities are required.

• Excellent management-level oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills are crucial.

• Advanced healthcare data analysis skills, including the ability to trend denial data and implement remediation best practices, are necessary.

• Proficiency in developing and delivering presentations is expected.

• Ability to comprehend and apply state and federal laws, regulations, and policies is essential.

• Capable of communicating professionally with individuals of diverse personalities.

• Must exhibit flexibility and the ability to collaborate effectively in a fast-paced environment.

• Basic skills in computer, telephone, internet, copier, fax, and scanner use are required.

• Basic touch 10-key skills are necessary.

• Fundamental math skills are required.

• Ability to understand and adhere to company policies and procedures is essential.

• Strong time management and organizational skills are a must.

• Proficient knowledge of Outlook, Word, Excel (including pivot tables), and database software is necessary.
