This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Collaborate in designing and managing the cross-functional planning calendar for the Product organization — overseeing annual planning cycles, aligned artifacts, delivery expectations, and scheduled alignment moments with Sales and GTM.

• Address existing misalignment issues — such as inconsistent work planning methodologies across suites, differing planning timeframes (platform, digital product, and suites operating on distinct cadences), a lack of backward planning for cross-team dependencies, and rolling release cycles that are out of sync with the school year — by implementing the lightest framework that effectively resolves these challenges.

• Oversee the maintenance of dynamic business unit and cross-product roadmaps, ensuring alignment with all other planning functions and creating shared visibility into the portfolio's direction and how dependencies interconnect.

• Develop a standardized end-to-end launch process across business units — incorporating launch readiness checklists, health checks, cross-stakeholder touchpoints, release documentation, and a seamless flow of data from product to supply chain.

• Collaboratively create the launch playbook with Go-To-Market, Sales, Customer Experience, Marketing, and Supply Chain — developing it in partnership with the functions implementing it rather than imposing it upon them.

• Establish ready-to-launch protocols ensuring that pricing is finalized, manufacturing and distribution are confirmed, market collateral is approved, and Sales and CX teams are fully prepared — consistently, regardless of which suite is launching, and without introducing significant overhead for the teams involved.

• Manage and continuously refine the five-gate stage gate process currently being implemented by the organization — including differentiated tracks (e.g., new programs, new markets, in-market management) so that gating is appropriately scaled to the investment rather than a one-size-fits-all approach.

• Collaborate with Finance & Analytics to connect funding and resource decisions to gate readiness, supporting the achievement of the 2026 KPI that 60% of 2027 R&D expenditure is vetted through stage gates or an independent strategic framework.

⛳️ Requirements

• 8+ years of progressive experience in business operations, program management, process design, or product operations leadership — preferably in technology, education, media, publishing, or another product- and content-driven industry.

• Proven track record in building lightweight, widely adopted process frameworks that teams genuinely utilize rather than accumulating dust in binders.

• Extensive experience in designing and implementing core operating processes at scale — stage gates, planning cadences, launch readiness frameworks, scope change governance, or similar frameworks in complex, multi-product organizations.

• Strong inclination towards partnership and co-creation: you have developed and implemented processes by listening first, prototyping with operators, and iterating transparently.

• Demonstrated success in leading cross-functional product launches from start to finish — coordinating GTM, Sales, CX, Marketing, and Supply Chain efforts to transform a “ready to ship” product into a successful market offering.

• Experience in people management — you have built and guided teams of process designers, program managers, or business operators, and you’ve nurtured talent in those roles.

• Comfortable with both strategy and execution — you can communicate the “why” of a new process to senior leadership and the “how” to the program manager developing the template.

• K–12 or education context preferred — familiarity with curriculum development, the school adoption cycle, or the general complexity of the American education system is a significant asset.

• Educational background: An undergraduate degree is required; an MBA or advanced degree is preferred.

🏝️ Benefits

• Salary is just one aspect of the Amplify Total Rewards package, which includes a 401(k) plan.

• Competitive health insurance and mental health options.

• Basic life insurance.

• Paid time off.

• Parental leave.

• Access to best-in-class development programs.
