This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in North Dakota, +2 more states.
• Initiate and proficiently conduct sales calls and presentations to both established and potential customers for all Osmose services and products.
• Build relationships with contacts within each utility at various levels, including senior-level executives.
• Develop sales strategies and schedules to ensure comprehensive market coverage with the appropriate contact frequency, based on business priorities and value.
• Coordinate sales activities with General Managers-Operations as required to maintain the existing customer base and support outreach to new customers.
• Utilize customer and market intelligence to guide the Contracts team in proposal development and articulate specific language when necessary.
• Provide pricing recommendations to the Vice President-Business Development and the Contracts team after collecting adequate production and scheduling information from Operations.
• Collaborate closely with Operations to align crew availability with project timelines and customer expectations.
• Together with the Vice President-Business Development, generate an annual sales forecast for assigned accounts and regularly update it to ensure its accuracy.
• Document and maintain customer and contact details for all accounts, utilizing the systems and processes provided or requested by the Company.
• Design and execute annual plans to enhance personal professional performance and effectiveness.
• Engage in and contribute to company sales and product training initiatives.
• It is the direct responsibility of the Directors of Business Development to pursue their own training and self-development.
• Contribute to additional projects and plans, not specifically mentioned, that are essential to reducing bureaucracy and redundant activities to achieve the Company’s financial objectives.
• Bachelor's degree and a minimum of five (5) years of experience in consultative sales.
• Experience in utility operations/management is a plus.
• MBA is preferred.
• Must exhibit leadership and self-motivational qualities.
• Must possess a valid driver's license and have a clean driving history.
• Willingness to travel overnight and work varied hours, when necessary, to achieve desired outcomes.
• Travel is approximately 50%.
