This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.
• Operate within a designated territory to generate and qualify new leads and opportunities.
• Conduct research and devise a strategy for penetrating the assigned territory.
• Collaborate closely with marketing on go-to-market (GTM) strategies.
• Establish trusted relationships with prospective customers, understand their requirements, and recommend suitable Sitero solutions/products.
• Achieve and exceed sales targets.
• Participate in conferences and represent Sitero's Clinical and eClinical offerings.
• Foster customer growth by identifying upselling and cross-selling opportunities.
• Recognize growth opportunities within existing accounts and develop strategies to enhance customer lifetime value.
• Assist in managing RFIs/RFPs, vendor qualifications, and audits for current accounts.
• Oversee procurement processes including purchase orders, change orders, amendments, and MSA renewals.
• Supervise customer onboarding and collaborate with implementation and delivery teams.
• Work alongside sales, marketing, product management, delivery, and support teams to ensure a seamless customer experience.
• Share insights, feedback, and success stories from customers to inform product development, marketing initiatives, and corporate strategy.
• Engage with internal stakeholders to resolve issues and serve as the primary contact for escalated customer concerns.
• Collect formal customer feedback and CSAT scores; facilitate the resolution of issues.
• Manage client finances, including purchase orders, budgets, invoices, contract overages, and opportunities for organic growth.
• Predict bookings and revenue using the CRM tool.
• At least 5 years of experience in a Contract Research Organization (CRO), Life Sciences technology company, or Pharmaceutical/Biotech organization.
• Previous roles as a Clinical Research Associate (CRA), Clinical Trial Manager (CTM), or in Clinical Operations are highly preferred.
• Prior experience in outside Business Development, Account Management, or a related sales/commercial position is preferred.
• A 4-year degree from an accredited institution is required.
• Excellent interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills.
• Self-motivated and takes initiative.
• Highly organized with a collaborative attitude and personality.
• Strong knowledge and experience with sales databases such as Salesforce, along with skills in pipelining and cold calling to generate new business.
• Must be willing to travel up to 50% of the time.
• May require significant driving or flying to manage the territory.
