This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United Kingdom.
• Meeting the sales revenue objectives set for the designated area of responsibility.
• Regularly entering and updating prospective client activity details (including: appointments, email communications, opportunities, and other pertinent activities) into the Medrio standard CRM tool (Salesforce.com) on a daily and consistent basis.
• Coordinating and overseeing the creation and submission of proposals to targeted accounts.
• Building and nurturing relationships with accounts, including C-suite, executive, and mid-level decision-makers to ensure maximum ROI on time and expenses invested (demonstrating a high level of executive presence).
• Possessing superior written and verbal communication skills, including emails, PowerPoint presentations, and Excel capabilities that can be effectively communicated to targeted client contacts and senior leaders at Medrio.
• Effectively utilizing persuasion and influence in communication.
• Demonstrating conflict management capabilities in various situations.
• Exhibiting a high degree of financial acumen – able to create and leverage internal and customer-focused financial analyses to ensure profitable access.
• Showing a strong degree of Emotional Intelligence.
• Thriving in a dynamic, fast-paced environment and leveraging decision-making skills to quickly interpret business needs to enhance performance.
• Proficient in global contracting skills from start to finish, showcasing corporate financial stewardship.
• Effectively applying negotiation theories and principles to achieve profitable results.
• Developing contract strategies and making informed decisions. Capable of tracking ROI on all contracts and optimizing contract performance.
• Demonstrating a comprehensive understanding of the Clinical Trials market landscape, customers, regulatory requirements, and trends, and communicating this knowledge effectively across all Medrio departments and cross-functional teams.
• Establishing strong working relationships with AMs, BDs, CSMs, SEs, SDRs, and other key departments to ensure the adoption and execution of the overall strategic plan while surpassing sales targets.
• Adhering to all company-wide compliance policies and being able to articulate and comprehend these policies.
• Mentoring members of Medrio Teams, including Sales Development, Business Development, Solution Consulting, and other teams, to aid in succession planning for the Director of Business Development role.
• Applying advanced business acumen by using a defined or implicit business framework to align the objectives of key stakeholders, necessary competitive strategies for success, required personnel and activities for delivering intended results, and business processes that support Medrio’s growth strategy.
• Creating advanced business planning for targeted prospective accounts, which includes strategy formulation, sophisticated market analysis, customer insights, and execution plans.
• Leading and managing change within the organization.
• Bachelor’s degree.
• At least 3 years of experience in the pharmaceutical/life sciences market segment.
• Strong business acumen, including proven analytical, negotiation, and reimbursement skills.
• Proficiency in MS Office, PowerPoint, and Excel.
