This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Illinois.

📋 Description

• Formulate and implement a territory strategy aimed at meeting annual revenue goals for AFS services.

• Cultivate new client relationships while enhancing and deepening connections with existing accounts.

• Identify, assess, and pursue new business prospects within biotech and pharmaceutical sectors.

• Engage in scientific discovery conversations to grasp client requirements and align AFS solutions accordingly.

• Facilitate client meetings, capability presentations, and site visits, both virtually and in-person.

• Spearhead proposal development in partnership with internal teams, ensuring customized and persuasive scopes.

• Ensure accurate management of pipeline, forecasting, and activity tracking within CRM systems.

• Collaborate cross-functionally with operations, program management, and integrated BD teams to bolster client success and cross-selling opportunities.

• Drive the alignment and negotiation of service agreements between clients and KBI's cross-functional teams (commercial, legal, finance, and operations).

• Represent the organization at industry conferences and networking events, actively seeking meetings with clients and potential clients during these occasions.


⛳️ Requirements

• A Bachelor’s degree in a scientific field is required; an advanced degree is preferred.

• Over 5 years of experience in biopharma services, with a strong emphasis on analytical, formulation, or CMC-related sales.

• Must reside within the designated region.

• Proven track record in managing complex sales cycles and achieving revenue objectives.

• Strong scientific knowledge with the capability to engage effectively with technical stakeholders.

• Willingness to travel frequently (approximately 50–60%).
