This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Pennsylvania.
β’ Oversee the complete development cycle of water and critical minerals projects from initial concept to financial closure.
β’ Identify both greenfield and brownfield prospects in water reuse, desalination, industrial water/wastewater, and the recovery of critical minerals.
β’ Develop and manage a sales pipeline utilizing market insights, industry trends, and stakeholder connections.
β’ Evaluate and qualify leads based on technical feasibility, market demand, permitting timelines, ROI, and strategic fit.
β’ Create pitch decks, proposals, and presentations for clients, partners, and investors.
β’ Obtain Letters of Intent (LOIs), Memorandums of Understanding (MOUs), or binding contracts to transform opportunities into viable projects.
β’ Perform technical, financial, and environmental pre-feasibility assessments.
β’ Assist in financial modeling employing NPV, IRR, and DSCR to analyze project economics and funding needs.
β’ Collaborate with engineers, consultants, and offtakers to verify design assumptions and commercial agreements.
β’ Lead permitting initiatives with federal and state bodies, including the EPA, USACE, and BLM, as well as local communities.
β’ Negotiate term sheets with EPC contractors, technology providers, and offtakers.
β’ Engage with investors, lenders, and grant agencies to secure project financing, Public-Private Partnerships (PPP), and grant funding.
β’ Interact with CFOs and financial advisors to arrange debt/equity financing.
β’ Prepare sources and uses statements and facilitate lender and investor due diligence.
β’ Ensure adherence to ESG standards, such as the IFC Performance Standards.
β’ Cultivate relationships with financiers, government entities, partners, offtakers, and consultants.
β’ Bachelorβs degree in Civil/Environmental Engineering, Finance, Science, or a related discipline.
β’ MBA is preferred.
β’ At least 15 years of experience in infrastructure project development; the role also accommodates candidates with 10β15 years or ten or more years of relevant experience.
β’ Proficient in or knowledgeable about financial modeling and feasibility studies.
β’ Understanding of water treatment, renewable energy, or critical minerals extraction.
β’ Familiar with complex, multi-stakeholder infrastructure project development.
β’ Knowledgeable in project finance structures, including non-recourse debt and tax equity.
β’ Familiarity with CRM platforms such as Salesforce and HubSpot.
β’ Understanding of critical minerals or renewable energy supply chains.
β’ Experience in drafting term sheets, EPC contracts, and offtake agreements.
β’ Demonstrated ability to manage sales pipelines and finalize complex transactions.
β’ Willing and able to travel up to 30% both domestically and internationally.
