This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Arizona, +7 more states.
• Lead a team of Marketplace Managers dedicated solely to Walmart.com, fostering a culture of exceptional performance and in-depth platform knowledge.
• Take ownership of the Walmart channel P&L. You will enhance financial awareness and drive improvements while implementing automation and process enhancements specifically designed for Walmart’s seller ecosystem.
• Cultivate operational and strategic partnerships with Walmart’s partner managers. Collaborate with the internal merchandising team to create promotional strategies that align with Walmart’s "Deals for Days" and seasonal initiatives.
• Maintain a proactive approach to mitigate risks associated with marketplace policy changes and to accelerate growth. This involves partnering with technology and reporting teams to optimize operational systems for peak efficiency on the Walmart platform.
• Collaborate with merchandising and retail operations to refine assortment and pricing strategies for Walmart customers. This includes establishing targets for Walmart Connect and ensuring the team meets defined revenue objectives.
• Mentor and develop the team with transparency and openness to build trust, encourage ownership, and invest in each member’s growth in marketplace leadership.
• 7+ Years of People Leadership: A demonstrated history of managing and scaling teams within a corporate or rapidly growing environment.
• 7+ Years in Walmart Ecommerce: Comprehensive experience navigating the Walmart.com marketplace, including knowledge of Walmart Fulfillment Services (WFS) and seller standards.
• P&L Management: Proven expertise in managing a complex P&L and making data-driven decisions to enhance bottom-line performance.
• Business Development: Proficient at identifying new growth opportunities and scaling categories within the Walmart ecosystem.
• Extensive Negotiation: Significant experience negotiating with platform partners and internal stakeholders to secure advantageous terms and promotional support.
