Director, Asset Management

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Wisconsin.

📋 Description

• Responsible for overseeing the performance, reliability, and lifecycle management of customer facilities, infrastructure, and physical assets to ensure they align with contractual obligations, operational objectives, and business goals.

• Provides strategic leadership for facility maintenance, repair, and capital improvement initiatives, ensuring that investments bolster long-term asset performance, operational efficiency, and enhance customer outcomes.

• Reviews and evaluates facility and asset performance metrics, operating expenses, maintenance costs, and financial results to pinpoint trends, risks, and opportunities for improvement.

• Directs annual planning efforts related to facility operations, capital projects, resource distribution, and long-term asset management strategies across numerous customer locations.

• Establishes governance, standards, and best practices for asset management, facility operations, maintenance planning, and performance reporting throughout the portfolio.

• Acts as a senior advisor to Asset Managers and customers regarding complex operational challenges, facility-related risks, capital investment priorities, and initiatives for asset optimization.

• Collaborates with customers, vendors, and internal stakeholders to ensure facilities, infrastructure, and critical systems function safely, efficiently, and in compliance with contractual and regulatory standards.

• Reviews and endorses asset management and facility operations strategies aimed at enhancing profitability, increasing asset reliability, prolonging asset life cycles, and boosting customer satisfaction.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Facilities Management, Construction Management, Business Administration, Operations Management, Finance, or a related field.

• Four years of directly related experience may be considered in place of a degree.

• A minimum of seven years of relevant experience is required, including three years of leadership experience in asset management, facilities management, operations and maintenance (O&M), energy infrastructure, property operations, or a similar operational setting.

• Demonstrates a passion for delivering services and advocating for safety on the job, possessing the knowledge and capability to enforce safety policies within the department.

• Must possess knowledge of facilities and asset management practices.

• Ability to generate additional business growth opportunities through effective customer management.

• Capability to manage profit and loss statements and report on quarterly and monthly projections.

• Proficiency in creating reliable financial forecasts.

• Strong verbal and written communication skills.

• Detail-oriented and prepared to handle various ongoing projects within a dynamic environment.

• Knowledgeable about the industry and aware of the Company’s competitors.

• Skilled in multitasking and willing to perform duties outside the typical scope of work as needed.
