Director, Artificial Intelligence – AI

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Define and spearhead Ziply Fiber’s enterprise AI strategy and roadmap.

• Create a centralized AI operational framework.

• Collaborate with executive leadership to identify, prioritize, and sequence high-impact AI applications.

• Function as a hands-on leader who can transition from strategy to prototype and ultimately to production.

• Oversee the design, development, and implementation of scalable AI solutions.

• Develop AI-driven capabilities that minimize churn, enhance first-contact resolution, and reduce unnecessary truck rolls.

• Propel automation initiatives such as agent assistance, intelligent routing, conversational AI, and predictive dispatching.

• Work alongside data, IT, engineering, and operations teams to create AI platforms and data pipelines.

• Establish and uphold AI governance frameworks.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering, or a related discipline.

• At least ten (10) years of experience in AI architecture, data science, or software engineering.

• Proven capability to design cloud-native and edge AI architectures.

• Expertise in multi-agent orchestration, Model Context Protocol, and Agent-to-Agent interaction models.

• Demonstrated experience in designing and implementing enterprise-grade AI platforms.

• Proficiency with cloud-scale AI ecosystems such as Microsoft Copilot, Azure AI, OpenAI, AWS, or Google Cloud.

• Proficient in Python with familiarity in SQL, R, or Java.

• Practical experience with frameworks such as TensorFlow, scikit-learn, and Hugging Face.
