Director, AI Solutions

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Design, develop, and deploy AI solutions aimed at automating workflows, improving deliverables, and generating new capabilities for both internal and client-facing applications.

• Oversee the entire lifecycle of deployed AI solutions, including maintenance, upgrades, reliability, and re-platforming efforts.

• Create architectures for solutions that integrate into Polaris IQ's shared intelligence layer instead of functioning as independent tools.

• Collaborate with the Head of AI and various stakeholders across GTM/Sales, Product Management, Software Engineering, and Data Engineering to pinpoint high-value opportunities and convert them into implemented solutions.

• Supervise and mentor 2-3 Junior AI Strategists, including coaching, reviewing briefs and work, and planning for their professional growth.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 7 years of experience in marketing, either on the agency side or brand side, in roles concentrating on client service/account management, product, or technology.

• At least 2 years of practical experience in deploying and managing production AI systems, which includes agentic orchestration, tool-use protocols (MCP or similar), API integration, and fluency in SQL/data warehousing (BigQuery preferred).

• Proven experience in managing and nurturing early-career talent, including coaching, work review, and growth planning.

• Strong communication skills with the capacity to convey technical strategies into value for both executives and non-technical stakeholders.

• Experience working collaboratively with Development/Engineering and Product teams.

• A first-principles problem solver who can identify the fundamental issues that need addressing.

• Capable of navigating ambiguity, prioritizing tasks efficiently, and transitioning rapidly from concept to implementation.
