Director, AI Platform Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Spearhead the design, development, integration, deployment, and continuous support of the organization's AI platform and associated engineering capabilities.

• Define and enact platform architecture, engineering standards, and development methodologies.

• Collaborate with product, data, infrastructure, security, and business teams to ensure platform capabilities meet enterprise requirements.

• Supervise engineering teams in creating reusable platform services, tools, and components.

• Propel modernization and integration initiatives to link existing systems and processes with AI platform functionalities.

• Assess platform performance and maintain operational health.

• Establish efficient operating models, support processes, and governance practices.

• Relay platform priorities, delivery status, technical risks, and investment requirements to senior leadership.

⛳️ Requirements

• A bachelor's degree is required, while an advanced degree is preferred, ideally in business, engineering, computer science, data science, or a related discipline.

• Over 8 years of experience in AI engineering.

• Proven success in leading product strategy, roadmap development, and delivery for intricate digital, data, or AI-enabled products.

• Demonstrated experience in AI and data-driven product environments.

• Strong skills in cross-functional leadership.

• Experience in managing and mentoring product managers or junior product leaders.

• Exceptional strategic, analytical, and communication abilities.
